Target Audience Research...

To get a better insight on peoples takes on teaser trailers and what is important to them, as well as what features of a parody are important to them, we asked some members of our target audience some questions, to help us out...

Voiceover...

From the teaser trailers we looked at, something we noticed was included in a few of them were shots of dialogue appearing on the screen, explaining in a way the story of the film. We liked the idea of including this feature in our teaser trailer at some point. As well as this though, after looking at the trailer for a parody film, an important feature was the narrative given by a voiceover, which added to the humour of the trailer. For this reason, we decided to combine the two features, mainly to set a serious mood for the teaser at first, but the the involvement of the narrator will become imperative to the actual lighthearted and humorous nature of the film.
